Transdiagnostic treatment of depression and anxiety: a meta-analysis

A growing number of studies have examined the effects of treatments that focus on both depression and anxiety, especially in the past 10 years. These ‘transdiagnostic’ treatments include components that appear to be effective in the treatment of both depression and anxiety.

The study concludes that transdiagnostic treatments of patients with depression or anxiety are increasingly examined and are probably effective in the short term.
