A short first message is enough

You do not need to explain everything before making contact. A brief message about appointments, fees, online sessions, or whether therapy may be suitable is usually the best first step.

Contact

I am glad to hear from you

If you would like to ask about psychotherapy, counselling, appointments, online sessions, fees, or another practical question about the services, you are very welcome to email me.

I am always glad to receive email and will try to answer as soon as my schedule allows. A short first message is enough; you do not need to explain everything before making contact.

Send an email

For most non-urgent questions, email is the easiest way to begin. You can ask about arranging an appointment, whether online or in-person work may be possible, fees, or which page on the site may be most relevant to your question.

What to include

A brief message is usually enough. You might include:

  • your name and the best way to reply,
  • whether you are asking about therapy, counselling, appointments, fees, or another practical matter,
  • whether you are interested in Dublin/in-person work, online sessions, or general information.

Privacy and email

Email is convenient, but ordinary internet email may not be a secure or fully confidential way to send highly sensitive information.

For a first message, please avoid sending detailed clinical history, private documents, passwords, payment details, or information about someone else unless this has been agreed and the method is appropriate.

If this is urgent

This contact page and email are not emergency services and may not be monitored immediately. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, needs urgent medical help, or may be unable to stay safe, please contact emergency support now.
