The Fear of Sharks

Did you know that more than half of all Americans experience a certain level of fear when it comes to sharks? It might seem irrational, but there are both logical and irrational reasons behind it. Great White Sharks specifically tend to strike terror even though actual attacks are quite rare. This fear stems from their intimidating characteristics and the fact that they lack relatable or “cuddly” attributes. Furthermore, media and other businesses tend to play up the sensationalism surrounding these “killer sharks.”
