Sexually transmitted diseases soar after Covid-19 controls lifted

Ireland recorded an alarming 100pc-plus increase in the number of notified cases of HIV over the past year with doctors fearing an explosion in sexually transmitted diseases as people rush to re-embrace social lives after the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.
