The transition to telehealth is an opportunity for clinicians to leverage technology, delivering Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which increases access and improves mental health in the long term. Even though telehealth is considered safe and effective, many clinicians are still nervous about providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) remotely to high-risk clients. The study in the link provides some interesting preliminary findings on how DBT therapists use telehealth and their experiences with it. It offers some great insights that could guide future research and practice.
